AU 606 Daily Tasks 10/3/2011   • On the phone with Steve going over things. We talked a blot about customers, shopping carts, check in/out queues, etc.
• Took some notes on what is requested.
• On the phone with a customer going over the calendar, telling them that the first round of time is done and online. Light training.

AU 627 Daily Ideas 10/3/2011   Ideas and requests:
-Could the look and feel be assigned to each individual user instead of on a corp level?
-Could we get a customizable label maker? Drop-downs, dynamic fields, logos, colors, etc. Mentioned, inventory items, flex rid fields, dates, times, qty, price, PO #’s, invoice #’s, customer, etc. Different sizes and layouts. Basically, custom built “squable” labels (use over and over).
-Could we get an override permission to allow for the thumbnails to be changed to a different image?
-A user would love to see a daily/weekly report that had options to see time periods (like 10am – 11am) on a daily, weekly, monthly level.

AU 628 Daily Ideas 10/5/2011   New request from Steve:
-Customer: 4 new date fields with corp-wide settings. (Active date range) Start date, end date; start period date, end period date (expiration date – membership expiration date range). On ending period date – add a notification if passed, don’t allow a new cart – maybe some rules of engagement and notification or full lockdown.
-Preload the start dates according to history.
-Pull flex grid MMR #’s to customer tax id’s.
-Pull the terms (dates) and add to expiration date fields.
-Add a new generic search field to search an item, put it close to the add item button.
-Take off Java Script for top quick search focus.
-Need a flag to show who has been started in the cart.
-Queuing a customer – in memory not in the database. 2 hour limit – when invoiced kick out or after 2 hours check-in/out – queue by time in, be able to flush.
-On the queue – track from check-in to invoice time – that might be good to see how much time passes between these states.
-Be able to start cart or start time for persons in queue.
-On the customer dates – they also need to show up on the following pages and reports: customer log, add/edit, history, gallery, normal search, advanced search, export to MS Excel, MMED custom forms, shopping cart, invoices, quotes, PDF’s, cart payment, etc.

Don’t assume that people have watched the other videos; spell it out, review it where needed and sum it up where possible.

AU 611 Daily Tasks 10/10/2011   • Working on the customer date fields. Modified the update field to help with multiple records.
• Worked on adding new settings.
• Changed the add Corp method from a huge SQL insert statement to a quick insert and then a full update. This makes it easier to follow what is going on.
• More work on the new corp-wide settings.

AU 630 Daily Ideas 10/11/2011   -Maybe add some other options on the advanced time search when a 0 record count is displayed. Currently it just gives an error; it might be nice to refine a search or something.
-We might need a button that applies a discount on the cart as a whole. It may even be cool if we could tie it to a customer type (only show up when needed). (Rolled this into another discount button tick list item.)
-Possible option for the get Corp Wide Settings method – maybe add an app_type_id argument so that it could get all data or just limited data back. It is getting pretty big and is used quite a bit; maybe make it in to a smaller bite size.

AU 632 Daily Ideas 10/18/2011   -On the elements of time – if may be nice to have personal settings including assignment to specific users as one of the settings. For example: maybe I share a calendar but don’t want to see the other people’s stuff.
-Need to add some code to help switch or add a new cart without hitting the start new cart page. This is true for counter sales, customer start carts, etc.

AU 2227 Brainstorming Customer Queue 10/18/2011   Customer Queue:
- Need a flag to show who has been started in a shopping cart
- 2 hour limit (roll out period – dynamic flush or clean-up) – maybe let the page do its own refresh when someone views the page, self clean-up
- When invoiced kick out and log it
- When quoted kick out and log it
- When tied to an element of time kick it out
- Track time between stages
- Add links to main customer page, advanced search, search results, customer log (linked to cust id), etc.
- Allow for flushing or manual removal of persons (check boxed like removing an item for the cart…)
- Do we want to allow only customer or general persons (both) as well
- Limited edits once created
- Queue by time in (sort order)
- Be able to start cart on start time from within the queue
- Show how much time passes between records. They may want to search this (hence record it in the database), (what about limits for storage)
- Tie to basic customer permission and then to corp-wide setting use/don’t use
- Show/hide search criteria
- Show oldest first
- Dynamic corp-wide setting name
- How do we get to this quickly? Top right corner by shopping cart icon or what? Quick button, etc.
- Add to history homepage…
- Make it easy to get to and make it easy to add/subtract customers. Maybe think buttons on forms on graphics.
- Maybe add a new corp-wide setting for a short version say 10-15 letters or something. Maybe a second one to say use or don’t use the queue.
- Tie the queue info to the session… do you have that permission? What do you call it? What is the short name for it
