| Customized Look | 11/3/2011 | Brandon Moore | Steve, The best way to tweak the look and feel is through the corp-wide settings. You could choose from any of the views (calendar, time slot, details, or groups), you can set the calendar box size (xs, sm, med, lg, or xl), you can also set other settings like start and stop times for the time slot view. That is where you tweak the default look and feel. If they want more details, have them choose the details or time slot view as the default mode. They could always switch to the calendar mode to get an overview of the week, but the other views show a ton more details and data. The calendar view is only one of four choices for displaying things. It is kinda handy because it shows an overview, but if you need details, flip to the other page views. That would be my two cents on the deal... :) |

It would be really trick if you could go to the client log from the Calendar View as you can on the Time Slot and the Detailed View. Maybe have C: log ....... in addition to Id: 143 C could be P or depending on what they call the Customer :) Reason being is sometimes I want to add a client log as well as an Element of Time. Also be nice to have the Customer Logs link on the Elements of Time pages. |

Steve, Quick note... There is already an active link on all elements of time (except for printable) to the customer log. There are links from the working with time page, the edit main, the basic search results (details mode or view), and the advanced search results. The only known holes are on the calendar view and the printable element of time page. Just curious, what did you have in mind or where were you hoping to see the link? Thanks! BM |
