Platform deals with allowing other parties and companies to build on what you have put in place. A business platform has underlying pieces that can be reconfigured and tweaked to get the desired functionality. You don't have to rebuild the whole thing each time, you just change one or more of the settings or permissions and the application is capable of playing in the new arena. That is platform. |
