• Working on pagination for my cart favorites. • Had to figure out a way to add row counts to query results. I then used these row numbers as part of the pagination. This one was kind of funky because the output was grouped instead of normal base records. Anyway, a bit of a challenge. • Answering emails and light tech support. Pushed a couple more graphics over to my brother to work on. • Went it to town to meet with my sister. We met and she showed me the progress that has been made on the developer’s notebook project. She has 1,800+ elements of time in and online. Great stuff. The bulk of our meeting was dealing with the user’s guide or user manual. We also talked about reaching out and getting additional help from others including volunteers. 20 miles. • Lots of emails, light tech support, and helping my brother with some graphics. We’ll call that graphic support. • On the phone with Steve. We talked about new custom projects and how to fund them. We talked about interns and using college kids and university folks. We talked about storage for clients. This storage could be old archives, files, pdf’s, etc. We also talked about changing a focus from “that is on our tick list”… to “that’s a great idea! Are you willing to pitch in and help it get done?” Anyway, a huge paradigm shift for us. We are going to be recruiting help, interns, and even volunteers to help with different projects. There is enough of a custom demand that we are going to elevate things to the next level. Great conversation. We are both super excited about the direction we are headed in. Yee haw! • New logo for a company. |
