• Emails and reviewing things on the to-do list. • On the phone with Steve going over tons of things. We talked a lot about getting help from contract labor and people we know. We talked about using client money to fund these outside projects. Basically, as a client needs or wants something, we charge them and then sub our small pieces of the job to our sub contract labor people. We are already doing that a little bit but it could continue to grow. We want to stay with contract labor for as long as possible. We also talked about my brother and using him for some graphics. We talked about job costing and circling around and fixing small pieces of the puzzle. We also talked a bit about eCommerce and different client needs. The other subjects were in-line custom code, page settings, and how to do the adilas API (application programming interface). We talked about ways to handle and deal with possible security issues and flow. Good stuff and a great conversation. The other person we talked about was an adilas team member and making sure we take good care of her, she is a great asset to the company. • Recording notes and ideas from my conversation with Steve. • Checking image sizes for photo uploads; we may want to help that process out a bit. We are getting quite a few bigger images and scans. • New limited customer search permission. This will limit customer searches base on assigned salesperson. • Also worked on the printable vendor search results. Changed some permissions. Also added a basic numbering to help people know what permissions to add or check. The numbers will change but at least it is a good starting point. More work on the limited customer search permission. • Working on the limited customer search by salesperson permission. Got files done and posted files online. Started testing and activating the new permission. • Adding an update to the news and updates page for the new permission. |
