Notes:

Ideas for a balanced approach... imagine a plate on a pivot point or a fulcrum - how much of each section could you load up without tipping things over or what is the virtual balance point? Good questions. We are seeing needs in the following areas. There may be more... System development, number of clients, and education

-System development (look and feel, new functions, logic, database, and basic functionality)
 - Number of clients (sales and number of system users - feedback, funding, and ideas)
 - Education (how, when, why, where, how much, etc. - videos, graphics, text, verbage, flow processes, industry specific, trends)

- Here is a good question, how do you manage the demands? What about funding? What about skilled people power (skilled talent)? Those are resources that need to be managed and balanced as well. Interesting.

- We talked about possibly stopping development (system development). There are pro and cons to this. We also talked about - can we even stop that? It seems to keep going on for as far as we can see.

- We talked about how good reps and consultants are filling in the gap between new clients and education and new clients and new system development. They, the reps and consultants, become a virtual motor or engine to help people keep going, train others to do what is needed, and push things forward. There is no standard training material that is provided by adilas right now. The good reps and consultants provide those missing pieces. They are a super valuable piece of the puzzle.

- If we keep building, how to do we support (education) that new development?

- If we made a full on system user manual, would anybody actually read that? There might be a few, but most would like to know that one exists, but they want their information and training quick and on demand. Almost the "google it" - type mentality. A quick YouTube search, looking for videos that are 2 - 5 minutes (max). What would help us be the most successful in that realm?

- What if we put in small videos and started using the small little gear on the side of the snow owl look and feel theme (additional page settings)? Put some small videos in place and help the education process by putting assets in the right place.

- Shannon and I will be turning and going back to filling in some more content on the user guide. We will be turning all of the content into different elements of time in the adilas university site. We are then able to show/hide content, edit things, add photos, show user threads (sub notes and comments and/or forum type discussions), add videos, add other media (Excel, Word, PDF, images, etc.). Turn it into our own content management system (CMS). Making these changes will be a game changer for us. That will really help. Exciting.

More ideas 4/8/2019 3:02 pm Brandon Moore

On Monday, 4/8/19, Steve and Brandon were talking about this balanced approach and who fills the gaps between the main three pieces (main three - number of clients, system development, and education). We talked about developers and how they help to fill the role between clients and systems. We talked about how good reps and consultants fill the gaps between number of clients and education. We then expanded the ideas and started talking about tech support and how they go between the system and the education level.

The deeper we got, the more some of these roles (developers, reps, consultants, tech support, etc.) start crossing lines and helping in multiple areas. It becomes a multi-level balance vs just a singular level balance. It is not a perfect match...

Towards the end of our discussion, we got deeper and started talking about other skilled players such as project managers and their roles. Then you get into sales managers, marketing, admin, operations, users, investors, etc. Before you know it, you are going to need all of the different levels. It almost turns into its own system of sorts. One thing creates something. That item/object is then consumed by something else, which creates a byproduct and then another thing picks up the tool or feature and then creates its own byproduct. It keeps going and going, around and around. It becomes its own system. It almost feels like it is alive.

As an idea... what if it was setup with multiple levels?

You could still have the three main pieces (number of clients, system development, and education). Those are some main ingredients. As those are mixed and blended... almost a funnel type analogy, it creates a number of byproducts or wants and needs. Those byproducts (wants and needs) are then picked up and consumed by others (a whole other pool of people and/or professionals). The others may be broken down into all kinds of levels. The others could represent a virtual talent pool of sorts. Basically, willing people, individuals, and even companies that offer their services to help fill the gaps, wants, and needs. A couple of other words or phases might be: needs, wants, pain, pressure, ideas, demands, requirements, and community.

These other parties could be big or small. Basically, a trained talent pool that consists of: outside 3rd parties, developers, reps, consultants, tech support, designers, system/networking guys, IT guys, hardware, trainers, book keepers, accountants, and other professionals. It almost comes down to the adilas market concept (adilas world). When you mix all of it together, you get a virutal community. Different people or parties find their niche and fill a need. It becomes a growing, thriving, living, virtual idea farm. As a new idea or feature is planted, grown, and harvested... it opens up options for more growth in both the system ring (main three pieces) and the output or byproduct ring (support systems). Kinda fun.
