This is the page that allows a deposit to be verified. The term verified should mean when the deposit hits the bank, the amounts are correct, and everything else is correct. Once a deposit is verified, it will be locked to outside edits from normal system users. However, anyone who has admin privileges over deposits may make changes at any time. Each action will be recorded in the history regardless of permissions. If you have posting permissions, that creates a final lock or an admin lock for the page. Posting is a lock above the normal verified lock.

1. Verify Deposit - Check the box to mark as verified. Uncheck the box to mark as unverified.

2. Verify Date - This is the date when the deposit hit the bank or shows up as usage on the bank statement. Use m/d/yy format.

3. Internal Notes - Required with a min of 3 chars and a max of 255. Tell us a little bit about the deposit. These notes do not print and are for internal use.

If you have posting permissions, you must first verify the deposit and then come back to this same page and there will be options to do the final lock or post.
