Payee Photo Management
This is the main add/edit page for payee photo management. If you are looking for general photo/scan settings and information, please see this help file that shows basic photo info (including an easy to follow graphic with basic settings).

The add/edit form has the following fields:

1. Photo Id - This is handled behind the scenes and is controlled by the application. If the value is a number, the page is in edit mode. If the value is "new", the page is in add mode.

2. File To Upload - This is where you browse to the jpeg image (.jpg) to upload. Most digital cameras will create jpeg images as the default. If you don't know if the file is a jpeg or not, go ahead and try to upload the file, the application will let you know that it worked or needs a different file. This field is required on an add and optional on an edit. If you choose to add a new photo to the PO, the first image you upload will be set as the thumbnail (tiny photo). It will also resize the file into a small (160 x 120) and a large (640 x 480) image. The dimensions are in pixels and the width is specified first. It is recommended that you shoot your photos in a landscape format (a 4 to 3 ratio) with the photo being wider than tall. It is ok to leave this field blank on an edit. If you browse to a new file on an edit, the photo will be replaced with the new one that is being uploaded.

3. Caption - This is an optional field and can hold up to 255 characters. This is where you can describe what the photo is all about or list a feature that might be a point of interest. These captions will show up on the large photo when viewed by itself.

4. Sort Number - This is an optional field if you wish to order the way the photos will be displayed. The lower the number, the sooner it will show up in the order.

5. Photo Status - This is where you can choose to hide or show a photo.

Once one or more images have been added to the database, they will show up below the main add/edit form. There will be a link for editing the images and the sort, caption, and image status. you may also click on the smaller images to see the bigger picture. If you are editing the images, you may need to use the refresh button on your browser to get the newest image to show up.
