Teacher/Student Interface Settings
This page helps the teacher/student interface get the correct custom settings for the reports and school year dates. The school year dates help to advanced the ball (calendar dates) from year to year and semester to semester. As a note, the teacher/student interface uses some virtual smoke and mirrors to simulate the mix between teachers (salespersons or system users) and students (customers). For more information about the teacher/student interface page, see this help file.

The special settings are:

Start Date - Required. This is the start of the school year, semester, quarter, tri-mester, etc. Each school is different how they deal with dates and reports. Use the m/d/yy format for all dates.

End Date - Required. This is the other half of the date range. This could be the last day of school for the year, the semester ending date, the quarter end date, etc. Use the m/d/yy format for all dates.

Behavior Tracking Template - Required. This setting deals with a thing called a master time template. Basically, the calendar section inside of Adilas uses a thing called elements of time. A master time template is setup (what to call it and what does it doe - types and functions) and that template then controls the options for the individual elements of time (events or holding containers). This setting allows you to select the correct master time template for the behavior tracking. As a note, this template needs to be setup by an admin user. Once it is setup, the system will be able to use that template to populate the behavior tracking piece of the puzzle. To see more details about master time templates, click this help file. To see more information about the sub dates and times (actual details of the behavior tracking module) see this help file.
