Check Request Homepage
This is the main starting point for check requests. This page is a special sub set of the expense/receipt homepage. The main difference is that this page only deals with check requests, approved requests, and declined requests. Note: A check request is nothing more than a special expense/receipt that doesn't get any payment info until it is approved.

The page is divided into three main sections. The top section has a number of special sub navigation links to special features and reports. The main search form is next and provided fields to help filter the results. If the search form is hidden, use the show/hide button to interact with the search form. Note: Only one of the search fields is required (report type). The bottom section will be the search results and approval/decline submittal form. There is a limit of five check requests per page. Each request will be in its own color block (white or blue) and will show all main request info, line items, and payments made. Each request will also show large photos (if available). If you have the admin check request permission turned on, the results will double as the approval/decline form. It is ok to approve/decline more than one request at a single time.

Note about declined requests: If a request gets declined, you may resubmit it by making whatever changes your supervisor requested and then going to the "edit main" link and clicking the checkbox that says something about resubmitting as a request. There is no limit to how many times a request can be requested, declined, and re-requested. If a request ends up being a dead issue, it is a good practice to void the entire expense/receipt and move on.

Note about the key word "last" that may be used for the check request number field. The word "last" will try to find the last check number that you (as a user) printed. If you are looking for the last check request you created, try using the word "last" and the category of expense/receipt from the quick search menu at the top.
