Year End Totals
This page has two different forms to get year end totals. The W-2 search is controlled by the payroll permission and the 1099 search is controlled by the admin expense/receipt permission. By way of information, the W-2 totals pull their numbers from the paycheck stubs entered through the system payroll section. The 1099's pull their data from the expense/receipts. The 1099's are filtered by receipt date, no voided expense/receipts, and no reimbursements.

Both search forms have options for getting all payees or a single payee at a time. The limit by payee field on the 1099 search is divided into two parts. The top is business names and the bottom is for individuals.

Once the results are returned, there will be links to drill-down to the corresponding data. Each report has a record count and also an individual count column that shows how many records each payee has associated with it.

If you corporation uses the Adilas.biz check request system, there might be a small difference between the approval date and check print and payment date (delayed aging of the actual payment) and the main expense/receipt date. The application is set up to look at the main expense/receipt date for 1099 year end totals.

To actually have the system help you with the physical 1099's and W-2's, do a search and then look for the link that says "create 1099" or "create w-2". When these links are clicked, the page will go to a new section where the known data is pre-populated into a web form. It is your job to make sure that the data is correct. If yes, click the "populate pdf form" button to take your data to a PDF form for both 1099's and W-2's.

By way of a note, on both PDF forms, copy A (the red one) must be filed online (due to magnetic ink and scanning requirements). All other copies are printable right from Adilas. Once again, we will help you populate the forms to the best of our ability, but it is your responsibility to make sure that the data is correct and that all "i's" are dotted and all "t's" are crossed.

If you have questions, please use the contact support form link to get a hold of support. Enjoy and happy filing!
