Income Statement (P&L) - Advanced Search
This is the advanced income statement or profit and loss statement (P&L) search form. It is similar to the basic search but it has a few more options to help customize the results. Some of the big differences between this search and the basic search are the ability to control options for internal repair invoices, include/exclude hard coded system parts (parts and special line items), and it also has options for how to calculate COGS for units (stock numbers).

A special note on options for outside repair invoices - There are three possible choices. The first choice basically says use internal invoices as if they are normal invoices (the location where the invoice was created is used in the background to help point the invoices to the correct location.). The second choice says use all internal invoices that are tied to a specific location. This allows invoices to be created from a central location and then assigned to units that either move and/or are not associated with the original invoicing location. This second choice will do a special look-up to see where the units are at the time of the report and will only include internal invoices assigned to units at the location(s) selected. The third option says skip or don't use any internal invoices.

Please refer to the help file on the basic search or results page for info on what the income statement (P&L) does and where it gets its values.
